Twinny!

Twinny is in Perth!!!!!! YAYY~! Picked her up from the airport at about 6 a.m. today and I was dead tired for the rest of the day 'cos it's been a while since I woke up at 5 something in the morning, lol.

It's so great to see her again! The last time we met each other was like 3 or 4 years ago. Man, that was ages ago! Twinny and I became good friends over the internet and her bf thinks she's a crazy woman to fly halfway across the world to meet up with a friend she met online, HAHAHA!! So true!

Anyhooooo we'll be spending time together, visit the zoo, go shopping, and yes we'll also be taking tonnes of photos to flood our blog pages soon :D

The cousin visits

Had lotsa good food last week thanks to my cousin visiting, hehe.. I am too busy to blog (exam's on next Tuesday!!!) so I hope the photos will do for now.

Knitting fever

Scarves Fi, Vivien, and I knitted. Sorta resemble our Knitting Club flag wtf *cheers*

As you all know, I have been rather addicted to knitting lately. Honestly, I have been so addicted that I've been neglecting my house chores, my supposedly "study time" and sometimes even my bii.

What's so interesting about knitting you ask? Isn't that an ah-mu activity? No, no, no! Knitting is no longer about knitting ah-mu sweaters (actually they're kinda in now if you're into the vintage/retro look) or ah-bek socks. You can actually knit your own scarves, mittens, gloves, beanie, dress, dolls, placemats etc. I bet you can knit your own bikini also!

I finished my very first scarf already but I haven't taken any photos of it. Project no. 2 & 3 are still in process (scarves as well but of different patterns). Project 4 was a beanie and I made it just in time for Wing Kin to bring it with him to Melbourne for his brother's wedding this weekend. :)

As for my most current project - Project 5, I just finished it tonight and thought of sharing it with you guys. I am quite in love with it because it looks unique, hehe.

I thought of daddy the other night while lulling myself to sleep. It was a flashback to the day he left us. I was holding unto his hand, and I called him, "爸！爸！” My heart begging him not to close his eyes. A tear rolled down his cheek before he breathed his last breath. Did it hurt, dad? Did you wish I was there earlier?

The pain still stings my chest everytime I think about it. And all I can say is sorry dad, forgive me, for I wasn't the best daughter to you. Please do know that I still love you very much.

Where could it be?

I was going through my closet yesterday and realized that I am missing a pair of panties. Where could it be? I searched my laundry bag and it's not there. Not in my closet. Not even in the collection bin for the kolien unclaimed laundry in the laundry room. Now I'm wondering if some ah pek stole my panties or not. o_O No, I don't wanna know what he does to it. Or maybe some girl found my panties and thought they were kinda cute so she kept them for her own use! Ewwwwww.....

Regina asked why haven't I been updating my blog lately; have I been abandoning my blog due to my knitting addiction, hahahahaha! Sigh. Damn fail. Had my hair cut at K3G a couple of months back. I was very emo then 'cos I just had an argument with Wing Kin when we got out of the saloon. He was saying how ugly my hair looked and how stupid I was for not telling the barber I didn't want my fringe short. I was already damn sad it turned out like this and he still kept telling me how ugly it was and said it aloud in front of other people some more. Damn angry and sad so I ended up crying. Then he got kintio hahahaha. What a girlfriend. So xiao qi one hor?

This is a VERY ugly me with a crooked smile after I visited my dentist (Kin can't believe I posted these ugly shots of myself up. *Sigh* The lengths I go to to entertain my dear readers :P). He said the anesthetic would go away in 2 hours but I was smiling like a stroke patient for about 4-5 hours going around Miri T_T

Ngaidii, I even went to have chicken rice with a couple of friends looking like that! Hope that made you LOL ya.. :P

Camembert FAIL : : Purling SCORE

I initially thought I was gonna have some finger-lickin' good camembert cheese for dinner tonight but guess what, I totally screwed it! Apparently I didn't coat them in bread crumbs thick enough, so the cheese leaked out while I was deep frying them. SIGHHHHH.... So fail, so fail.

This was taken before I deep fried them. They were soooo believably tasty (even just by the look of them hey) but I never got to taste them T_T

On a brighter note, I learnt how to purl two days ago and JENG JENG JENG! Check out my new scarf, hehehehe.. I finished the green/brown/white yarn already but the scarf is not long enough! So I gotta head to Spotlight this week to grab a similar yarn to attach to the one I've done. Happy happy.

By the way, my blog is getting so dead nowadays lah. I don't really know what to blog about. Should I blog about the red lantern dress I got from Topshop last week, only to find out it was 2 sizes too big for me (!@#(*&!@)%^)? I've been so busy with work + study, nowadays omg CA program is such a pain in the arse I seriously don't know why I'm doing it. For the sake of the pay rise? Definitely. But I just can't imagine myself being tortured like this for a year plus! I so need a good holiday when I can have one.
